The Things Customers Contact Us About Most

Fixed prices that did not move

The figure agreed in writing before work starts is the figure invoiced at the end. Anything genuinely unforeseen is stopped, explained and agreed with you first.

Speed when the heating is off

Immediate boiler installation is available, and we take breakdown work seven days a week within our published hours of Mon–Sun, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Work left clean and certified

Dust sheets down, everything cleared, combustion readings recorded, controls explained and the manufacturer warranty registered on your behalf.

Straight answers on repair or replace

If a repair is the better spend, we say so. If a boiler is beyond economical repair, we show you why rather than simply asserting it.

What Our Customers Judge Us On

Reviews are the closest thing you get to a reference before you hand your house keys and a four-figure job to a heating firm. The feed on this page comes straight from our verified review profile, so ratings and counts change as new feedback arrives rather than being a hand-picked snapshot we chose to show you.

We deliberately do not paste selected quotes into this page or write testimonials of our own. If you want to know what our customers in Liverpool, Knowsley, Prescot, Halton and St Helens think, read the live feed above and make your own mind up.

What customers actually judge a heating firm on

In our experience it comes down to four things: whether the price at the end matches the price agreed at the start, whether someone turned up when they said they would, whether the work was left clean and certified, and whether they were told the truth about repair versus replacement. Very little of it is about brochures or brand names.

That is why every price we give is fixed and in writing before work begins, with no hourly rates and no invoice arriving later with extras on it. If something genuinely unforeseen appears once a boiler casing is off or a floorboard is up, we stop, show you, and agree what happens next before continuing.

It is also why we register the manufacturer warranty on your behalf, record and explain combustion readings, and hand over the certification rather than promising to post it. Every new boiler installation includes a FREE Gas Safety Certificate.

How to read heating reviews properly

Read the middling reviews rather than only the best and worst. A three-star review usually tells you what a firm is like on a bad day, which is more useful than a glowing one written the afternoon the heating came back on.

Look for reviews that mention the same things you care about. If you are a landlord in Kirkby needing certificates on time, reviews about paperwork and appointment reliability matter more than ones praising a shiny new combi. If you are converting a tank-fed system in a Victorian terrace in Wavertree, look for reviews describing conversions rather than straight swaps.

Check that the reviewer describes a real job: the appliance, the town, what went wrong, what was done. Vague praise with no detail is worth very little regardless of the star rating attached to it.

Finally, check the engineer is Gas Safe registered and ask at the door. Ours is registration no. 576059, licence no. 3715984, and you are entitled to see it before anyone touches a gas appliance in your home.

What we do when something goes wrong

Heating work involves old pipework, hidden joints and appliances that have been sitting untouched for years, so occasionally something does not go to plan. What matters is what happens next. Ring us on 07523 738285 and tell us what the system is doing, and we will get an engineer back to look at it.

We would rather hear about a problem the week it happens than read about it months later. Faults on recent work are dealt with as a priority, and where an appliance fault is a manufacturer matter we help you make the warranty claim rather than leaving you to argue it alone.

If we get something wrong we say so. That is a far cheaper position for us in the long run than a reputation for arguing with customers in a city where most of our work comes from people recommending us to a neighbour.

Leaving your own review, and why it helps

If we have carried out work for you, an honest review helps the next household in Huyton, Prescot or Widnes decide who to let into their home. Mention the town, the appliance and what the job involved, because that detail is what makes a review genuinely useful to someone else.

Please review what actually happened, including anything we could have handled better. We would rather have a truthful set of feedback that helps people choose than a page of praise nobody believes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the reviews on this page written by you?

No. The feed is pulled live from our verified review profile. We do not write, edit or select the reviews shown here.

Can I speak to someone before booking?

Yes. Ring 07523 738285 during our hours of Mon–Sun, 8:30am–5:30pm and you will speak to someone who does the work, not a call centre.

What is included in the fixed price?

The appliance, flue and fittings, removal and disposal of the old unit, the system cleanse where it is needed, commissioning, warranty registration and the FREE Gas Safety Certificate on a new boiler installation. Boilers are fully fitted from £1,299.

Which boiler brands do you fit?

Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, Heatline and Main. We recommend on the basis of your property and hot-water demand rather than whichever brand is cheapest that week.

What if I have a problem after the work is finished?

Ring us and we will come back and look at it. Faults on recent work are prioritised, and where the appliance itself is at fault we help you make the manufacturer warranty claim.
